Enyimba Coach, Kadiri Ikhana says the race for the Glo Premier League title is still wide open with 15 games remaining on the fixtures.

Ikhana spoke after the People's Elephant were held to a one-all draw by hosts, Bayelsa United, in a match day 23 clash at Oghara Township Stadium on Saturday.

Sikiru Kamal handed the six time champions a 27th minute lead but Raphael Onwurebe rallied to get the struggling hosts back on level terms three minutes before the half time whistle.

Ikhana reckons that, it is not yet time for celebration since the title race is still wide open.

“It is good we got a point here (in Oghara against Bayelsa United), but I believe the season is still a long way to go,”Ikhana tells Completesportsnigeria.com.

“We came here with the hope of collecting the maximum points.

“The season is still a long way away, but we have to keep working hard and see what happens next,” reiterates, Ikhana who was voted Africa's best coach in 2003 after leading Enyimba win that year's CAF Champions League said.

Enyimba remain top on the log with 42 points after the draw at Oghara, opening up a two-point lead ahead Sunshine Stars who will take on FC Giwa on today (Sunday) August 16 in a match day 23 tie.
