Ajibade appointed Kwarapoly Deputy Rector

Mrs Olubunmi Olayinka Ajibade has been appointed as new Deputy Rector (Academic) of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

Ajibade is the immediate past Director of Consultancy Services in the institution.

A statement issued and signed by Deputy Registrar (Establishment), Mr Abdulrasak Amuda on behalf of the Registrar, stated that the approval was given by the State Ministry of Tertiary Education following the recommendation of her elevation by the Polytechnic Management.

The appointment, which has taken effect from August 3, 2015, is for a non-renewable term of 3 years only.

This was contained in a release made available to Pilot Education by the Deputy Registrar (Information), Mr Moshood Tosho Amuda.

According to the statement, Ajibade's appointment has paved way for the elevation of Engr. Ahmed Ayodele Aminu from Deputy Rector (Academic) to Deputy Rector (Administration).

While quoting a statement from the Deputy Registrar (Establishment), it explained that “the terms of Aminu as Deputy Rector via a letter Ref: Reap/782 dated 20th March,2014 remained unchanged, noting that the expiration of his tenure as Deputy Rector (Administration) is 19th March, 2017.”
