Alleged Dispute: Ojuekun Family apologises to Emir of Ilorin

The entire members of Ojuekun family in Ilorin West Local Government of Kwara State have tendered “unreserved apology” to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari on “any perceived inadequacies of the family.”

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the four ruling houses of the family represented by the Magaji Ojuekun, Alhaji Saadu Ayinde and the Daudu of Alapa, Alhaji Sheu AbdulKadir on behalf of sons and daughters of the family.
According to the statement, “the Emir’s palace is regarded and recognised as the second home of Ojuekun family historically, adding that nothing can change it as exemplified by their ancestors.”
The family therefore, pledged its continued total loyalty and support for the Emir in his efforts at ensuring continued tranquillity and peaceful coexistence in Ilorin emirate and the state at large.
