Sunshine Stars plan squad overhaul

Glo Premier League leaders, Sunshine Stars of Akure are planning a minor shake-up in their squad during the mid-season break.
Chief scout of the Akure Gunners, Adeyemi Adeyinka intimated completesportsnigeria.com that the management of the club have compiled a list of players that are surplus to requirements, and have concluded plans to bring in new ones to fill their positions.
“The Technical Committee of the Ondo State Football Agency are placing some players in the market during the mid- season transfer window,”Adeyemi told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“These players were earlier served letters by the management, warning them to up their performance or be thrown out of the team.
“We have a list of the players we would like to bring in to fortify the team, and they will come in to replace the players who are leaving.”
Sunshine Stars host basement side, Taraba United this aftertoon in a week 19 fixture at the Akure Township Stadium.
The Kenedy Boboye's side look good to finish as mid-season champions with a win against the Jalingo based outfit.
