...Beats Giwa FC 3-1 in Ilorin
Kwara United Football club of ilorin put smiles back on the faces of their fans with a second victory in a week under new head coach, Tunde Sanni.

Having got their first away win last week over Ifeanyi Ubah FC, the Harmony Boys continued with another impressive performance with a 3-1 victory over visiting Giwa FC of Jos.
Ismaila Gata opened scoring in the 15th minute from the penalty spot after an opposing defender handled the ball in the box.
The tally increased in the 38th minute through Abubakar Yusuf whose overlapping paid off after benefitting from a loose ball before his long range effort beat Giwa's goalkeeper.
Adamu Musa pulled one back from the Jos based side in the 40th minute to ensure proceedings stays at 2-1 at Half time while Halilu Obadaki's 58th minute screamer sealed victory for the Harmony boys.
The Giwa duo of shuaib Ibrahim and Amos Gyan were however sent of in the 59th minute and 82nd minute for unsportsmanlike behaviours as the visitors finished with nine men.
Speaking after the encounter, an elated Sanni praised God for the victory, thanked the fans for their support and promised the team will keep improving as the league progresses. He pointed out that he will keep making the changes and by so doing give every player the opportunity to prove themselves as they are poised to improve their standing on the log.
