Prof. Akanji demolishes house, builds mansion

The fact that Professor Musbau Akanji, the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, is a respected University don is not in doubt. He was formerly at the University of Ilorin, where he contested unsuccessfully to be its Vice-chancellor before he moved to FUT Minna as its vice-chancellor.

He has since assumption of office succeeded in transforming the University in terms of Infrastructural facelift, stable academic calendar and prompt release of examination results, staff capacity building and increased research work.

The gist however making the rounds is that the University Don, who is reputed to be a conservatist is however changing as he is alleged to have demolished his Adewole home and a new gigantic structure is currently being erected on the land.

After Hours was wowed when it visited the Adewole abode of the Akanji's as the structure being erected on the land can best be left to imagination.

It is safe to say the structure, when completed will be a cynosure of all eyes in the metropolis, as one cannot but notice the gigantic structure.
