Staffers abandon Kwara APC secretariat

The popular adage that the absence of the cat in the house is a field day for the mouse aptly described the scenario that is currently playing out in the APC party secretariat. Checks revealed that since “Lafia” as Hon Ishola Balogun-Fulani (State APC Chairman) is fondly called, travelled for the lesser Hajj, some of the staffers have also “travelled” for the festive season, even before the commencement of the public holiday declared by the Federal Government.
One of the senior member of staff was said to be jokingly lamenting on phone to “Lafia”, who called from Saudi Arabia thus: “Ha my chairman, we are missing you here, since you left, some of your staffers have also left, in fact, it's like you have cleared the place of people and we cannot wait to have you back”.
