ADFAC stresses commitment to Alanamu Community devt.

A socio-political association, the Advancement Front of Alanamu Central (ADFAC) on Sunday paid a courtesy call on the Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin, Alhaji Abubakar Akanbi Jos at his palace.
Speaking, the association’s President, Alhaji Moshood Adebimpe said ADFAC’s objective is aimed at fostering unity among the indigenes and strive for improvement of both human and physical development in the community.

Highlighting the association’s achievements over the years, Adebimpe said further that ADFAC has assisted in securing employment for Alanamu indigenes, helped artisans among them to be employers of labour, organised Summer schools and as well advised government at various levels on policy statement.
He however thanked the traditional ruler for being a worthy leader for the community, praying Allah to further grant him sound health and long life to enable him contribute more to the community, emirate and the country at large.
Responding, the Balogun Alanamu, Alhaji Akanbi Jos who commended the association prayed that God will continue to strengthen them in their resolve towards betterment of Alanamu.
He however enjoined the members to eschew internal rancour and wrangling among them in order for the association to be able to achieve its set goals.
Jos promised to always be available to offer advice and assistance to the association whenever the need arises.
Meanwhile, ADFAC has announced that its annual Summer school which comes up during the long vacation would start immediately after Ramadan. It promised to make the commencement date public when all logistics have been put in place.
