ZuluGambari said further that stakeholders in the ancient City are working assiduously to ensure that the objective soon become a reality.

This, he noted was in view of the late Scholar's contributions to the development of education, not only in Ilorin and Nigeria but throughout the Africa continent.

He stated further that there are precedence just like Uthman Dan Fodio University and Bayero University of Kano dedicated after Sheikh Ibn Fodio and Alhaji Ado Bayero, adding that sanctioning such move should not be an herculean task for government.

The monarch who is the Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council stressed that dedicating such great institution after Sheikh Alimi is not out of place.

ZuluGambari disclosed this in his address shortly after inspecting four acres of land obtained for construction of the proposed Sheikh Alimi Islamic Women Health Centre at Afon, Asa Local Government Area of the state at the weekend.

He however expressed optimism that with an indigene of Ilorin Emirate as the number three man in the country, it is a matter of time before it become realisable.

On the proposed hospital, the monarch said once it is completed, the health facility would further complement both state and local government efforts at providing qualitative healthcare delivery services for the people.

He explained that the hospital though bearing Islamic name would be open to everybody irrespective of religion, tribe or ethnicities.
