The Aba side who have been unbeaten for eight matches got another vital victory in their quest to win the title as the home side's defence was well exploited.

Ifeanyi George opened scoring in the 26th minute with a simple tap in after a brilliant interchange of passes to silence the home fans.

Enyimba increased the tally nine minute later through Christian Obiozor before Oladapo Ojo pulled one back for Kwara United with an excellent curler of a shot in the 38th minute.

The home side's performance improved after the interval but the Enyimba defence was stood their ground before Markson Ojobo's penalty in the 77th minute off a Victor Dennis handball all but settled the tie for the visitors.

There was however time for the home side to reduce the deficit through Daro Ojo's 90th minute shot.

Speaking after encounter, Enyimba's Coach, Kadiri Ikhana expressed satisfaction towards his teams performance saying he expected a victory going by their unbeaten run in the league.

He said despite picking away points of late, his side will work harder to ensure the title is won at the end of the season.

The Kwara United Technuical Crew led by Coach Tunde Abdulrahman declined to speak with newsmen despite spirited effort by the club's media officer.

It would be recalled that the technical crew have been giving a three matches ultimatum or face the sack and with the last two losses, the team's trip to Taraba at the weekend completes the matches.
