Flying Eagles star set for surgery in Qatar

Injured Flying Eagles midfielder Obinna Nwobodo is now finally set to depart Nigeria for Doha, Qatar to undergo a surgery on a major knee injury.
Nwobodo who has endured several alterations on his travel date will now have a lot to cheer over as he makes what many have labelled as a career saving trip to the Middle East
According to the Flying Eagles Media officer Sam Audu, Nwobodo is expected to undergo the surgery by the weekend at the world-renowned Aspetar Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha and thereafter have part of his rehabilitation in Qatar.
Nwobodo prior to his injury was a key member of the Nigeria U 20 team but he has since been out of reckoning after he was forced out of the AYC final after a malicious tackle by Senegal skipper Roger Gomis.
The Enugu Rangers player will hope to get back in his full strides after this weekend's surgery.
