After putting up a tremendous performance in Monday's night 3-3 draw against one of the most rated country in the women football, Sweden, the Nigeria Super Falcons will face another test when they play Australia on Friday in Group D of the 2015 FIFA Women World Cup, holding in Canada.

Sweden gave up a 2-0 lead to Nigeria only for substitute Linda Sembrant to put the Europeans back in the lead, which Francisca Ordega cancelled out with three minutes remaining for a dramatic 3-3 draw in the first game of Group D.
The Super Falcons, having never beaten Sweden on their three previous meetings, came out flying in the first few minutes and had the Swedes on the back foot for much of the first quarter of an hour.
Australia lost 1-3 to former World Champion, USA in one of the group D first game, which gave the American girls better advantage over Nigeria and Sweden.
The Super Falcons will have good advantage if they can see off their Australian counterparts in the second game scheduled to host by 8am on Friday morning.
Though, Australia has tremendously improved in the women's game, and made tremendous strides in the process.
But Nigeria is the type of team that if you look past them to the next game, they will punish you for that. They need a good first step for the future and getting out of a group that include the United States and Sweden would be a really big step for the future of women's soccer in Nigeria.
