...slams AFCON venue
Super Eagles goalkeeper and skipper, Vincent Enyeama, has said he would be resigning from the national team, and probably the sport, after the next African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon, 2017.

Enyeama, 32, who is the second Super Eagles player to reach the 100 caps mark since his debut against Kenya in May 2002, said he would hang his boots by lifting the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations trophy.
"It's impossible to play football forever and the next tournament in Gabon will be my last one," Enyeama said.
Meanwhile, Enyeama expressed reservations the choice of venue for Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at home against Chad due to violent unrest in the state.
The two sides are scheduled to square up at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna this weekend, but Super Eagles goalkeeper Enyeama feels the players are being put unnecessary in danger.
"I'm not satisfied with the choice of Kaduna and you know I'm a very outspoken person. I don't like the choice of Kaduna based on what is happening in the country but then the government knows exactly what to do to ensure our safety," Enyeama said.
“I am concerned because it's not Kaduna but because of the security thing. I really don't care where we play as long as there is going to be security and safety of the players and everyone coming to watch the match."
