GTB to render half-day service on Tuesday

Guaranty Trust Bank has stated that it will render a half-day service on Tuesday nationwide to enable all its branches carry-out half year Audit exercise.

In a text message sent to its customers on Saturday, the bank said: "Please be informed that our branches will close early on Tuesday, 30th June 2015 to enable us complete our half year audit exercise." "Our Lagos branches will close at 3pm, and our branches outside Lagos will close at 2pm on this day." "To ensure uninterrupted banking services, all our alternative channels will be fully functional and available for all your Personal and Business Banking" "For e-banking channels like Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Internet Banking – Simply visit www.gtbank.com. Customers are urged to send SMS for balance enquiries to “Bal and NUBAN” to 08076665555''. It further stated: ''for transfer of low value funds, you can use our *737*Transfer service. To Transfer Funds to GTBank Accounts - Simply Dial *737*1*Amount*NUBAN# and for Transfers to Other Banks, Dial *737*2*Amount*NUBAN#. ''For Airtime Recharge - Simply Dial *737*Amount# and to transfer airtime to a friend, Dial *737*Amount*Mobile Phone No#. The bank, however, apologised the inconvenience the exercise might cause and appreciated her customers for banking with it.
