The newly turbaned Emir of Ilesha Baruba in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State, Professor Halidu Ibrahim Abubakar, yesterday asked President Muhammadu Buhari, to ensure physical discipline as part of moves to revamp the nation's economy.

Indiscipline pervades in the country by many Nigerians make money cheaply, the Emeritus Professor of Public Finance, argued. This, according to him, had affected the nation in the past and asked the new helmsman to guard against it. Abubakar, who was turbaned the 28th Emir at the ceremony held at Ilesha Baruba on Sunday, also challenged the new government to ensure Nigeria is secured under its watch. Abubakar said: "I think the new government on economic side should embrace physical discipline; that is very important because I think, it has been responsible for a lot of our problems before. There so much indiscipline. People make money cheaply and anywhere people make money without productivity, definitely, it is going to cause crisis, not just crisis, but inflation and so on. ‘’And of course, the one that everyone cries about is security; without security nobody can move from one place to another. Physical discipline, security among others should be at the front Burner of the new government." In his address, Abubakar who is a member of the Governing Council of Kwara State University (KWASU), thanked other contestants for the position for embracing peace. He polled three out of the five votes cast by the kingmakers to defeat others in the election held in December, 2014. "My message to my people is that they should give me necessary support.
